1963 P600 Sedan
I bought this 1963 Trabi P600 in 1994 while stationed with the US Army in Heidelberg Germany. My vivid memories of seeing pictures of the Trabant “Freiheitwagen-Freedom Wagon” stuffed with passengers streaming through the holes in the Berlin Wall in 1989 prompted me to want to buy a piece of this history. It’s my Cold War Trophy. I invite anyone who happens to be in the Northern Virginia or Washington DC area to come see this lovely little relic of the DDR symbolizing the failure of communism.
