I first fell in love with the Trabi when I was stationed at Templehof in West Berlin during the Cold War and would visitEast Berlin in the DDR.  I never planned to own one but when I saw member #3 selling his on ebay I could not resist. The car is a Kombi, titled as a 1967, true year unknown.  Many of the parts were in boxes but have since been put back on.  It sat for many years but now has been cleaned up and runs.
