I drove this Trabant and owned it for the last 2 years while i worked in Europe. I drove it from Berlin to Paris straight and then when it was shipped I drove it from Detroit to Naples, Florida as well. Did a lot of Canada to. It was never towed. Approximately 4000 miles. No problems just new brakes and tires after all that. I guess you can add that my father used to drive me around in a Trabant when we lived in Europe when I was about 5 years old.
